Mountain Heart Wellness is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. This allows me to offer a more personalized, integrative approach to care without the restrictions often imposed by insurance companies.
Payment is due at time of service. If you would like to seek reimbursement, I can provide a superbill — a detailed receipt you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network benefits. Please note that reimbursement, if any, is determined by your insurance provider, and all communication about claims is between you and your insurance company.

What Integrative Therapy Is
Integrative therapy at Mountain Heart Wellness is a holistic approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and emotional well-being. Sessions may include traditional talk therapy combined with education and strategies related to movement, nutrition, stress management, and sleep — all within the scope of mental health treatment.
This approach is designed to support clients in creating sustainable lifestyle and mindset changes that enhance emotional balance, resilience, and overall health.

What Integrative Therapy Is Not
Integrative therapy does not replace medical care, nutrition counseling, or fitness training. I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, prescribe medication, or provide individualized nutrition or exercise plans beyond general wellness guidance.
Clients are encouraged to maintain regular care with their medical providers, and I am happy to collaborate with other professionals as part of a whole-person approach when appropriate.
Walk & Talk sessions take place outdoors and incorporate gentle movement as part of the therapeutic process. These sessions are not fitness training or physical therapy, but rather a way to support emotional processing, stress reduction, and grounding in nature.
Integrative therapy at Mountain Heart Wellness is a mental health service informed by mind–body science. It is not intended to replace medical, psychiatric, or nutritional care.
