Welcome to Mountain Heart Wellness

Hello, I’m Dana, the founder of Mountain Heart Wellness.

This therapy practice was born out of my lifelong passion for health, fitness, and emotional well-being. For more than 30 years, I’ve cared deeply about nurturing both my mind and body — though the path hasn’t always been easy.

Like so many women, I’ve faced struggles with body image, stress, and finding balance while managing full-time work, school, and motherhood. There were seasons when I lost connection with myself — and times when my relationship with food and movement felt more like pressure than nourishment. But I always carried a quiet determination to keep learning, growing, and returning home to myself.

As a therapist of 25 years, I began to see how deeply physical health and emotional health intertwine. That insight inspired me to earn a certification in Integrative Medicine and create Mountain Heart Wellness — a space where women can explore healing from the inside out.

My hope is that as you walk this journey, you’ll feel safe, seen, and supported. That you’ll begin to nourish yourself as thoughtfully as you care for others. And that through our work together, you’ll rediscover what it means to feel strong, fed, loved, and whole.
